2) 500 gm sugar and 250 ml water mix and keep for boiling. Boil till we get one string consistency. Add dry fruits, raisins, cardamom powder, rose essence, and keep on slow flame.
3) Start making boondi and drain on paper towel. Transfer to sugar syrup. When half the batter is consumed start crushing boondi in mixer and transfer to syrup.
4) when done with this, at the end add 2 tsp ghee to boondi mixture. Mix well and start shaping balls. Mixture is hot, use a ladle or icecream scoop for shaping and muffin or appe pan for keeping. It will maintain shape. After some time when mixture is easy to handle give proper shape.
5) Decorate with silver warakh if you like.
