Pasta

Spiral Pasta with Marinara sauce

Marinara  sauce is a spicy Italian sauce that originated in Naples, usually made with tomatoes, garlic, herbs, and onions.

As we have Galaji red pasta sauce we just need to add couple of things and it will be ready. We will give Indian taste to this pasta by adding green chilli.

Take 2 sp oil in a pan, add one chopped green chilli, six cloves of chopped or minced garlic, one onion and saute. Then add a cup of water to galaji red pasta sauce powder and pour in the pan. Then add pureed tomatoes and cook.

On the other hand, keep 1 quart/1 lit water to boil. Add pasta and cook till it's AlDante. Drain water and save some water to add to pasta sauce.

Check taste of sauce , add salt, black pepper, sugar, italian herbs and seasoning.

Now in a separate pan, add little oil, add one more onion, 2 capsicums, or any colored bell peppers, 1 tomato, green peas, carrot and saute till it cooks.

Meanwhile add cooked pasta to sauce and coat with sauce.

Once veggies are ready, mix everything and serve hot. Serve with cheese garnishing and cilantro if you like.
